Jalan Kalibaru Timur Needs Repair

The condition of Jalan Kalibaru Timur, Utan Panjang Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, is very worrying. The street as long as 2 KM needs repair soon.

"Jalan Kalibaru Timur has not been repaired for years. Whereas, it is very vital as citizen activity and access to Nangka Bungur and Loksem Markets," said Hasan (45), a local resident, Wednesday (12/3).

According to Hasan, repair proposal was already included in the 2014 Development Planning Conference (musrembang), but until now it has been not realized. "We worried there would cause casualty if the street isn't repaired," he expressed.

Many Damaged Roads in East Jakarta Need Repair

Head of Maintenance and Bridge Section, Central Jakarta Public Street Public Works Sub-Depart ment, Agustio Ruhuseto revealed the street cannot be repaired this year. "And will be included in the 2015 budget. Please be patient," he stressed.
